Tamandua Expeditions is run out of the Peruvian Amazon Basin. We offer adventure-packed, hands on, expeditions through some of the most beautiful and challenging wilderness on earth. Our focus is on wildlife research, conservation, and responsible volunteer/adventure travel. The focus of our expeditions is the natural world; the Amazon contains an unmatched variety of flora and fauna. Projects often focus on data collection related to populations of mammals and other species such as reptiles and amphibians, birds, and insects.
