Few sports or activities are as global as skateboarding. After gaining popularity during the 70’s, it really exploded during the 90’s and has picked up steam ever since. Being a sport that costs very little to practice (a cheap skateboard can be as little as $15), skaters from the farthest reaches of the globe can shred day-and-night on any patch of concrete they find.

A sport rich in cultural expression, riders often develop regional styles, showcasing their country’s flare and style in each trick.
