A coastal city in northern Portugal most-notably known for its wine production, Porto‘s charm partially comes from its cobble-stone streets and welcoming people. One of the oldest European cities, it’s a quaint town that immerses visitors within its limits. Perhaps Porto’s most-famous building, and a must-visit, is the Church of São Francisco, set on the banks of the Douro River.
